February-May 2025

As we strive for excellence and improvement as a business, we are going to shift to our Company Updates on the blog to quarterly instead of monthly. Hopefully, this will consolidate all the important information every few months and make for less clutter on the blog. Thank you for your patience as we continually seek to improve!

The Slave in Your Backyard

The Slave in Your Backyard

Our team was able to attend the premier screening of The Slave in Your Backyard, a documentary on human trafficking in the Upstate. It was a thought-provoking film that powerfully told the beauty of God's redemption in the lives of both trafficking survivors and a former trafficker. The film also challenged our community to educate themselves about human trafficking in order to help end it. The documentary featured two of our partners: Switch and Lighthouse for Life. We were so thankful we could play a part in supporting these two amazing ministries!

The film is now streaming on Apple, Amazon, and other major streaming networks. Please take some time to watch this film and catch the vision of freedom in the Upstate!

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe

The touring team from The Logos Theare premiered The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardobe in D.C.! The story touched the lives of many who watched it, and served as an incredible opportunity to segway conversations towards the Gospel message. We are thankful for such a successful opening for the team!

This is a monumental moment for this ministry, and we are beyond excited to hear about the continued impact this production has on audiences and cast memebers alike as it continues on its tour route! Be sure to purchase your tickets to a showing near you...you won't want to miss it!

New Staff Member

Nathan Weaver

We are pleased to announce that Hopkins Financial has added Nathan Weaver to our team! Nathan will be taking over the role of Social Media Manager to allow Gracie, our Director of Development, to better focus on other aspects of her work. He is already doing a fantastic job of giving our social media pages a fresh look, and connecting with clients on our platforms to form meaningful connections.

Welcome to the team, Nathan!

Lighthouse for Life

Lighthouse for Life

Lighthouse for Life joined our group of amazing partners! They fight to erradicate human trafficking by educating communities and empowering survivors.

The staff of this ministry speak across the US to raise awareness, and to train individuals on how to spot and report trafficking situations. They also provide a list of trusted resources on their website for easy access to helpful knowledge to raise awareness and present solutions for individuals to stop this growing problem within their spheres of influence. Lighthouse for Life has many practical ways they are serving trafficking survivors, including a Survivor Support Program (housed at their property, The Harbor), providing life skills and holistic care, advocacy assistance, support groups, and much more!

Front Porch Housing

Front Porch Housing

We were excited to welcome another wonderful ministry to our partership program this month. We are thankful to support their team in the work they do!

Front Porch Housing is a ministry based in Greenville, SC. They provide a three year supportive housing program to help families in crisis get back on their feet.

The three steps this team uses to help rehabilitate families are...

  1. getting stable by providing a strong, Christian community and safe, dignified housing.

  2. learning through counselling, parenting classes, financial guidance, and many more educational opportunities in essential life skills.

  3. thriving in community by providing career support and helping families plug into a home church.

It's incredible to look back at what God has done over just this first quarter!

We thank Him, and praise Him to the opportunity to serve our clients with excellence and partner alongside them to support Christlike ministries. We look forward to the next quarter, trusting Him to do more than we could ask...or even imagine!
